B-Cell Receptor Complex

specific

A membrane bound protein complex comprised of an immunoglobulin molecule associated with a heterodimer, called CD79, containing one CD79A protein and one CD79B protein. The immunoglobulin determines the ligand specificity of the complex and the CD79 heterodimer promotes signal transduction. This receptor is involved in antigen processing and presentation.
